DONATIONS and ASSISTANCE

Southern Ontario Border Collie Rescue is a non-profit group, and relies upon donations and adoption
fees to cover the medical costs of Border Collies in our care.  Unless we have an opportunity to accept
a donation of quality  food, or a special diet is required, our foster homes simply share what they
  normally feed their own dog(s).
Very often the dog's medical needs exceed what we can recover through adoption fees. We gladly
accept and appreciate any and all donations.  Medium and large size dog crates and other
equipment in good condition are always useful. We also appreciate donations of retail gift cards
and Canadian Tire money, which can be used to buy raffle prizes for Helping Homeless Pets fundraisers.

Monetary donations may be sent via cheque or money order made out to:
    Southern Ontario Border Collie Rescue
5982 Ravenshoe Road, Sutton West, Ontario L0E 1R0.

You may receive a charitable tax receipt if you make a donation of $20 or more directed to SOBCR
through Helping Homeless Pets.  To do this please visit their website at www.helpinghomelesspets.com
  and click on "DONATE".

  VOLUNTEERS

If you are an experienced Border Collie owner/handler and wish to foster and train a dog that may not
have had the best start in life, we could sure use more help!  There are never enough foster homes,
and without caring and patient people willing to take in the dogs, our ability to accept dogs into Rescue
  is very limited.

We are also grateful for the help of trainers and behaviourists who understand herding breeds and are
willing to help our volunteers and adopters work on training issues or iron out fixable breed or personality
  related quirks.

Thank you for caring about our "recycled" dogs!
